KS Children's Chorus CD 2009

“Na Nä Pua Lei A Pauahi” is the second musical CD, released in December 2009, by the Kamehameha Schools Children’s Chorus. It is a long awaited collection of mele that the Kapâlama elementary students have been singing over the years, including Ka Na‘i Aupuni, Ke Aloha O Ka Haku (Queen’s Prayer), We Send This Aloha To You, Ho‘onani I Ka Makua Mau (Doxology), Hawai‘i Aloha, Hallelujah Chorus and several others.

All proceeds from the CD go towards the group’s planned trip to Japan in 2010. The Kamehameha Schools Children’s Chorus (KSCC), organized in 1988, is comprised of 100 4th, 5th, and 6th graders from the KS Kapâlama Campus. The chorus has traveled and performed around the world, most notably, at Ground Zero in NYC, with Celine Dion in concert, and for the Disney movie, Lilo and Stitch.
